WorkSmart Automation can help!
Introducing Report DB; a smarter and more effective way to generate monthly state and regulatory reports.
If you’re like most, you or someone on your staff spends countless hours preparing monthly reports. Often data is stored in disparate sources and has to be collected and assembled into report templates taking hours and even days out of your schedule each month.
WorkSmart can automate this process for you. Our Report DB solution uses MS SQL Server and MS Office to put automated, worry-free reporting into your hands. We use a simple and straightforward process; Collect, Compute, Review, and Report!

• Report DB Collects data required for water treatment reports by querying your SCADA system historian and providing user- friendly data entry forms for entering meter reads, laboratory samples, and other data not logged by your SCADA system.
• Report DB Computes daily values required in reports and stores the results to the Report DB tables. Report data like equipment runtimes, daily flow totals, water quality, chemical, and electrical usage are computed automatically from raw historical SCADA data.
• Report DB Review tools provide easy to use forms for reviewing, validating, and correcting data. Reports linked to raw SCADA data can often report erroneous values as a result of equipment failure, recalibration, PLC communication failures or power outages. Report DB provides tools to correct erroneous data and a user audit trail for tracking data modifications. When a record is corrected, the original and new values along with the user ID and a remark explaining the changes are logged.
• Report DB Reports are configured in Microsoft Excel and WorkSmart’s ReportBuilder™ Add-in. ReportBuilder™ adds new functions, windows, and menus to the already powerful Excel workbook environment. Reports can be run for any time where data exists making it possible to review reports from month to month or day to day with just the click of the mouse. Ad-hoc reporting is a snap allowing operators to drop functions into any Excel workbook.
